INDORE — A brand-new virtual zoo attraction is now open to visitors at the Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya (Indore Zoo). Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav officially launched India's first 14D Virtual Zoo and Digital Jungle Safari, designed to bring wildlife experiences to life through advanced simulation technology.
Built across 8,000 square feet at a cost of roughly ₹4.5 crore under a public-private partnership with the Indore Municipal Corporation, the attraction blends visual effects, physical sensations, and interactive environments.

What Can Visitors Experience?
- A Giant Gorilla Entrance: Visitors start the tour by walking straight through the mouth of a massive, illuminated gorilla structure into neon-lit 3D jungle pathways filled with wall projections of tigers, lions, and ancient forests.
- The 14D Theatre: Equipped with a specialized waterproof screen imported from South Korea, the 20-minute show uses 14 sensory effects. Moving seats rise, drop, and vibrate in sync with on-screen action, while the room fills with real water splashes, wind blasts, fog, and floating bubbles. The show includes a 10-minute deep-forest adventure and a 10-minute prehistoric journey through ancient wildlife eras.
- Interactive Glow Garden: A path featuring a talking tree, touch-activated gates, and fiber-optic floors where glowing butterfly and plant lights turn on as you walk over them.
- Animal Roar Maze & Hologram Bridge: A thrilling maze where visitors navigate winding pathways accompanied by the realistic sounds of roaring bears and lions, leading up to a mirror bridge featuring a 3D hologram display.
- 3D Dome Theatre: An immersive 360-degree dome show that places visitors right in the heart of wild landscapes.
Ticket Prices and Show Timings
- Ticket Price: ₹70 per person (covers access to all main attractions).
- Visiting Days: Tuesday to Sunday (Closed on Mondays).
- Operating Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Daily Shows: 16 shows per day, lasting 20 minutes each.

Speaking at the launch, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav noted that the project aims to promote wildlife and environmental conservation education while offering young visitors an exciting, tech-driven reason to step away from personal smartphone screens.
