Kia India March 2026 Sales Breakup: Sonet & Seltos Lead Strong 14% YoY Growth, Total Dispatches Reach 29,112 Units

Nexus News Alert | New Delhi, April 15, 2026 — Kia India recorded robust sales in March 2026 with total dispatches of 29,112 units, registering a healthy 14% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 25,525 units in March 2025. On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, sales remained stable with a marginal 5% increase from February 2026.

The Korean automaker maintained a steady 6.5% market share in the Indian passenger vehicle industry, driven primarily by the strong performance of its compact and mid-size SUVs — Kia Sonet and Kia Seltos.

  • Kia Sonet continued to be the highest-selling model with 12,012 units, showing strong demand for the facelifted version.
  • Kia Seltos recorded its best-ever monthly sales of 11,041 units, a massive 69% YoY jump, boosted by the 5-star Bharat NCAP rating and new variants.
  • Kia Carens maintained steady volumes at 5,933 units despite a slight MoM dip.
  • Premium MPV Carnival and the recently launched Syros saw significant de-growth, indicating limited demand in the higher price segments.

Kia India’s Q1 2026 sales (Jan–Mar) stood at 84,316 units, marking an 11.6% growth over the same period last year.
